1997

The company was founded as Flexipak, LLC in Ada, Michigan with a specialty in producing new to market monolayer and multilayer flexible packaging for the industrial, medical, and pharmaceutial markets.

2011

Printing capabilities were substantially expanded. We began operations which enabled us to offer up to 10 color Rotogravure and 8 color Flexographic printing. Combined with our industry specific science based manufacturing expertise, Polymeric Film & Bags solidified its reputation as the go to source for innovative packaging to compete in crowded markets. 

2001

The company changed its name to Polymeric Film & Bags, Inc. to highlight the vast array of plastics films used in our product laminations. As a science based company, our business grew as more customers relied on our expertise for barrier film laminations and perforated films. Extending the life of fresh vegetables, cooking systems and easy peel applications became typical projects for Polymeric. As one of the largest suppliers of Nylon films, we became known for our expertise in barrier film technologies. Our customer base includes, medical, food packagers and industrial firms. We became known for producing the highest quality graphics possible on substrates such as, PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate), Nylon and Proplyene.

2012

Our sister company, Accuperf, Inc. was launched in West Chicago, Illinois. This new facility enabled us to expand our in-house product line to include macro and microperforation packaging options. Our state of the art equipment provides us with the unique ability to model highly effective perforation solutions for a multitude of Industrial and Automotive applications. We can apply the science of our production processes with assorted films for Filtration, Release Liners or even breathable sheeting.

2003

Global operations became fully underway as we opened our new officies and manufacturing facilities in Seoul, Korea. Product lines increased to include a wide variety of new and innovative packaging options such as stand up pouches, zipper pouches, spout pouches and retort packaging.
